Pinacoteca Corrado Giaquinto” of Bari, opened the new hall of the ‘900. Ariete supports the activities of restyling
It was officially inaugurated on 17 June 2021 the new room of the Pinacoteca Metropolitana di Bari “Corrado Giaquinto”, entirely dedicated to the works of the Twentieth century, mostly by artists from the puglia region, the authors of landscapes and portraits. Most of the works are now linked to a QR code to display a tab for further study. Also introduced the new display of the Collection Grieco composed of 50 paintings which include the tuscan macchiaioli, some of the artists from the venetian and neapolitan of the Nineteenth century, and a choice of the great artists of the early Twentieth century.
The presentation was attended by the Councillor and delegate of the Culture – ICO – Library – Museums Francesca Pietroforte, the Director of the Service of Goods and Cultural and Artistic Activities Maria Grazia Magenta, the historic dell’arte Christine Farese Sperke and thearchitect Michele Ottomanelli.
A special thanks was addressed by the executive Magenta to the staff of the Ariete that has supported us over the months the logistics activities aimed at the construction of the new museum areas. In addition to the normal functions of the control and verification of the good performance of the structure from the point of view of the technical, Ariete takes place inside the Gallery also welcoming service, and management by the user.
