Ariete, closes the positive impact of the budget and celebrates thirty years of history
Ariete celebrates thirty years of life, confirming its robustness with the approval of the budget of the financial year 2022 and recording an annual turnover of over € 16 million. The Shareholders ‘ Meeting, back in the presence after the pandemic, has gathered the 10 of may, an occasion to celebrate thirty years of constant effort and team work, that have allowed the company from bari to achieve a number of accomplishments, awards and certifications. Born on 20 April 1993 with 15 members and a capital initial subscribed to one and a half million lire, now the Ariete operates on the national territory and employing more than 700 people, mostly women.
Among those present, the president and the director of Legacoop Puglia, Carmel Rollo and Pasquale Ferrante, and the members of the Cooperative.

Ariete, in his thirty years of activity, has been able to face challenges and seize opportunities reserving, year after year, with great attention paid to sustainability (environmental, economic and social, as well as to the welfare of the company and the enhancement of the training. These are the main topics explored this year in the course of the annual general shareholders ‘ meeting. From a long time, the Cooperative has focused its business in the direction of strategies always greener, from the reduction of pollutant emissions to the exploitation of renewable energy sources. In this context, the Cooperative has decided to take the route of a request for acquisition of the eco-label EU Ecolabel, with the aim of supplying a service that is even more efficient in terms of the environment.
The company also promotes the consumption of “clean” energy, which is produced by the photovoltaic system installed in 2011 and expanded in 2013 at its registered office. Not less important, the value of which is entrusted to the person. For 2022, in fact, the Ariete has re-based its corporate policy on the centrality of workers as a resource for which it is necessary to ensure continuous, a work environment that is positive and proactive. To seal this commitment to the certification of the management System for Gender Equality that has resulted in the co-operative to gain UNI/PdR 125:2022. In order to obtain a peaceful working environment and improve the quality of life of all, the Ariete has invested in a plan of corporate welfare in line with the real needs of those who live in the Cooperative, daily, implemented for the current year.
