Put a flower in your public gardens

“Put a flower in your public gardens” is the title of the initiative is promoted and organised for Saturday afternoon, 17, from the Association, “The Island that is not there” to Latiano in collaboration with the Cooperative Ariete of the Town that will be home some of the seedlings bloomed in a flower bed of the public Gardens of via Roma. The initiative has ensured its participation in the mayor Mino Maiorano.

‘In view of the event,’ reads the press release of the Association is open to all citizens and especially children and students in Elementary and middle school (the park is adjacent to tentity, primary school, Philip’errico) the workers of the cooperative already in the day tomorrow to prepare the soil of a flower bed atthe entrance of the gardens, which will host the 20 seedlings donated for the occasion from a florist in the country and a member of the Association’.

In the weeks following the initiative will be replicated in other parks in our town.

In the same day and Saturday will be planted a dozen trees – donated by the director of the cooperative Ariete, Gabriele Bruno and the president of the Tennis Club, Fernando Miglietta – in the park of 167 next to the swimming pool.
